Serevi’s Night

Former national player and coach Waisale Serevi was awarded the lifetime achievement award during the Fiji Rugby Union awards night, last night.
The legendary sevens maestro was a special guest at the event. He received his award from the Fiji Rugby Union president Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.
The awards night at the Novotel Suva Lami Bay was special not only to current players or administrators but to those who have contributed immensely to rugby in the country.
FRU also paid tribute to former players, coaches and rugby administrators who died last year and also recognising players who have played more than 50 tests for Fiji.
Meanwhile former Vodafone national 7s coach Ben Ryan joined the Wall of Fame list alongside Apakuki Tuitavua, Ratu Sir George Cakobau, Barrie Sweetman and Pio Bosco Tikoisuva.
