Asco Motors on Saturday hosted its first art camp aimed at enhancing artistic and drawing skills.

The Art Camp, part of Asco Motors 2016 Toyota dream car art contest programme was conducted by renowned Cartoonist Tui Ledua.

The contest invites children from all over the country to submit their creative artwork.

This is the 11th year of competition.

According to Asco Motors National Marketing manager Elenoa Korovulavula there are three goals of the contest.

“To strengthen Toyota’s relationship with national communities and customers, to have children become interested in cars, especially Toyota and to increase the Toyota brand awareness in Fiji.”

The art contest is divided into three age group categories.

Category one is for under eight years old, category two for eight to 11 years old and category three includes 12-15 years old.

There will be three winners from each category.

The winners from this contest then qualify and would be submitted for the contest in Japan in September.

The art camp, held at the company’s regional training centre at Nabua, was attended by about 50 children aged from three-15 years.

The contest closes on February 9.
