Prasad Happy to Represent Fiji at Forum

National Federation Party leader Biman Prasad says he is looking forward to making contributions at the 25th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum.
Mr Prasad is part of the Fijian delegation at the four day forum at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa in Natadola.
He said the meeting looked very positive. It was good to have parliamentarians from other countries join to make recommendations and contribute to the better functioning, development and uplifting of the countries.
“As the Prime Minister said this is a very important Asia Pacific Parliamentary meeting and we are part of the Fiji delegation led by Minister for Defence and National Security, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola,” Mr Prasad said.
With a reference to the various national, regional and international issues, Mr Prasad hoped that there would be healthy and progressive dialogue amongst the member countries.
“Fiji has already met the member country delegations. We have also looked up to the resolutions and we will be making contributions as and when necessary,” Mr Prasad said.
The members of the Forum were hosted to a special welcome dinner at the resort during which Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama said the members are discussing in the forumsome of the most complex and pressing issues facing the concerned regions.
