Fiji Football Association development officer Waifune Tupua plans to involve Under-14 girls in their programme.
“We are reaching out to the U14 girls in schools before focusing on the U16,” Tupua said.
“We plan to have U14 girls playing in the U16 grade, the U17 girls preparing for the U20 grade.
“We prepared the U17 and U20 women for the OFC Women’s World Cup qualifier.”
The 2016 Vodafone Women’s League competition was held at the Fiji Football Academy grounds yesterday and Tupua commended the performance of the teams from the Central division.
Results: Rewa 3-1Navua, Nasinu 1-0, Suva 1-0 Tailevu/Naitasiri 1-0.
