Ivan Chang’s life-long dream to open a clothing store is now a reality.

Mr Chang opened his $30,000 “Out of India” store in Labasa.

The 24-year-old holds a degree in Financial Management from the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China.

He said fashion was always part of his life when he was growing up.

“I’ve always wanted to have a business of my own and even though I am not getting much money but I am happy,” Mr Chang said.

Before opening his new store, Mr Chang used to work at MHCC as a Western clothes supplier and designer.

He added that he had been receiving positive comments and feedbacks from his customers.

“My customers are happy with the products and they’re telling me it’s unique and with affordable prices.”

Mr Chang travelled to India and selected clothes. He said some of the combination of items he had in his shop were not sold anywhere in Fiji.
