Advanced Parts and Spares Limited has once again stepped in to sponsor the Labasa football team for the Vodafone Premier League 2017 competition.

The company had last year sponsored the side during the Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament. Company director Yogesh Chand, said it was an honour to sponsor the team.

“Since we are a growing company, publicity plays a vital role in our strategies and also for the love of soccer it was something to give back to everyone who loves the sport especially the Babasiga Lions followers,” Chand said

“These are the reasons why we are sponsoring the team. Actually we have been supporting them for many years and last year the association requested us to come in during the Fiji FACT and this year it’s even bigger with the league competition, which runs throughout the year.

“We as a family business, believe in hard work and success. And that is what we want for the Labasa team, to be hard working in order to be successful.”

Labasa Football Association vice-president, Varun Anand said they were grateful for the sponsorship as the welfare of their players was their priority.

“We are thankful to the company. The players are definitely happy and excited and I am sure this will boost them to play well for their district,” he added.
