Actor Eastwood: I love Fiji

Hollywood actor Scott Eastwood was in the country last weekend taking a break from filming his latest movie Pacific Rim: Maelstrom in Australia.

The 30-year-old returned to Australia on a Fiji Airways flight on Monday after spending a few days on our shores.

Mr Eastwood is the son of iconic Hollywood actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood.

He has been in Australia since November filming the giant robot monster movie sequel, which also features new Star Wars actor John Boyega.

Mr Eastwood, along with Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian, and Levi Meaden are the supporting cast for Mr Boyega.

He was believed to be alone during his visit in Fiji.

Vereniki Momoedonu, who works at the Airport Fiji Limited, could not believe it when he bumped into actor at the airport.

“He looked regular and very appreciative. He was overwhelmed with the Fijian hospitality,” the Viseisei, Vuda native said.

“I was a big fan of his father Clint Eastwood. I enjoyed his entire movies and I do pray that Scott is following in his father’s footsteps.”

The younger Mr Eastwood, while on his visit here, shared a lot of video footage of his visit with his two million followers on social media.

The Hollywood actor was laughing and joking as he walked and boarded the plane to fly back to Australia.
