Large Chinese incentive group here to conduct training, motivational teaching

Tour Managers (Fiji) Limited on Monday welcomed close to 200 clients from China who were part of an Incentive group conducting training and motivational teaching here.

Group members consisted of Chinese from all over China with close to 80 per cent of the group consisting of females between the ages of 30-40 years old.

Tour Manager (Fiji) Limited Business Development manager Ioane Naivalurua said the group will be in Fiji for close to 14 days.

During their stay they will encounter motivational teaching and leisure activities as part of this unique “Advanced learning” programme conducted by a Chinese travel partner at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa in Natadola.

Mr Naivalurua said: “Tour Managers continues to market aggressively for destination Fiji.

“And its partners in the emerging markets of Asia such as China in order to convert opportunities and contribute towards filling the traditionally low months of tourism in Fiji.”

“The ever growing list of opportunities which China presents is huge.

“Destination Fiji stakeholders must work together for the benefit of Fiji so that the destination is sustainable and strategies coordinated to maximize returns.”

To add value and surprise the group, Tour Managers worked with the Sabeto Youth group to showcase Fijian traditional songs and meke which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

He also said Tour Managers throughout the month of January welcomed over 600 Chinese guests which excluded the incentive group from China.

“Tour Managers continues to forge ahead in ensuring that Chinese guests enjoy and experience the authentic and hospitable environment which Fiji is renowned for,” said Mr Naivalurua.

Meanwhile, the Incentive group will throughout its stay will also be participating in various activities in and around Fiji.
