Parents led me the right way: Headgirl

Newly inducted head girl of Deenbandhoo Memorial School Karistha Pillay credited her parents for attaining the position to lead the school for the year.
“My parents have always led me on their right path and I know this badge will help me lead the way for my fellow schoolmates,” she said.
“They have always told me to follow the advice which will help me to multi-task and better manage my time.”
Student heads, Karistha and Louvatu Vosailagi, were the newly inducted heads of the school at the induction ceremony which included 52 prefects.
Karistha said her role as a leader will help her in future just like her parents.
“The badge is not only about managing the students and setting good examples,” he said.
“It is also being the leader of the school and helps the school rise to the top.
“This is what I will be working on throughout the year and will teach my juniors to always focus on their academic achievements.
“Nothing is more important than our academics achievements.”
