There is no reason to travel long distance for the choice of food you like.

In the heart of Suva City, the My FNPF Plaza in Greig Street, provides the satisfaction to your taste buds.

Some eateries that are open include Blue sky restaurant, Jolly Hot Food, beth’z grill, Sri Lankan Express Restaurant and the Big Green salad.

Blue Sky owner Ha Young Ho, who opened his shop on Wednesday, last week, said so far the crowd had been great.

“I think it’s because of the new building so people are coming in and it’s good for business and it also has a lovely architecture that is attracting people to the plaza,” Mr Ho said.

“This is my first shop and I invested about $70,000 into this eatery.

“I sell Korean and Japanese food as well.”

Mr Ho added he chose the name Blue Sky because it was how he had imagined Fiji.

“When I came to Fiji for the first time, I saw blue skies and the blue sea. It’s all in my imagination.”

So when you are gallivanting around the streets of Suva, don’t forget to stop by the plaza.

You would be sure to find the food of your choice from any of the cuisines.

The plaza is owned by the Fiji National Provident Fund.
