Hearing Date Set In Tikoca Case

Suspended Opposition Parliamentarian Isoa Tikoca will have further issues in his case heard on February 14. This is for the Magistrate to determine whether the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) can call another witnesses.
Magistrate Makereta Mua will give half an hour to both the parties to make their submissions.
Tikoca was represented by defence lawyer Jolame Uludole and FICAC was represented by Rashmi Aslam.
FICAC charged Tikoca with failing to declare his liabilities before the 2014 general elections.
It is alleged that his failure was contrary to section 24 (2) (a) (vii) and section 24 (5) of the political parties registration, conduct, funding and disclosures decree no 4 of 2013.
The case has been adjourned to February 14 for hearing on the submissions.
