A 34-year-old man charged for raping his 10-year-old sister-in-law will have his trial in July.
The matter was called before Justice Thushara Rajasinghe at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
The accused told the court that he will not be calling any witnesses whereas the state informed the court that they would need one week for the trial.
The trial is set from July 3 to July 7.
The alleged incident occurred sometime in September last year in Suva.
Justice Rajasinghe has asked the accused to have his lawyer present in court on the next date.
The case has been adjourned to February 24, to check on the bail application.
