Krishna Confident Of Good Show

Australia-based John Krishna Jr is back to feature in a boxing programme in Lautoka.
The 36-year old will face Ronald Naidu of Nadi in the main supporting bout of the Kiran Boxing Promotion at Tilak High School today.
“It is never easy but I’ve prepared very well and confident,”Krishna said.
“I need fans to come out and support local boxers.”
His dad John ‘Chotka’ Krishna is a former Fiji boxer and football rep.
“It’s good to come back and fight in your country of birth.”
Junior has fought nine times, won eight and drew one.
He defeated David Slowiak, Kiattisak Kuarwan, Mike Wanpraset, Chad Roy Naidu, Junior Kuar Singh and won the vacant World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific middleweight title against Dion McNabney in 2012.
Naidu is ready for a good fight.
“I will do my best and I am calling on the fans to come out in numbers as I want to make them happy since this is a big fight for me.”
