A power blackout disrupted a night of entertainment during the Kiran Boxing Promotion held at Tilak High School in Lautoka last night.

This was after a good crowd of about 200 fans witnessed two entertaining bouts with a young Junior Wahid Khan providing an outstanding knockout win over Azad Mohammed.

The Suva based-King Khan Boxing Club staged a classic act to overpower his opponent.

In other results: 4×3 minute rounds – Malakai Marama won on unanimous points decision over Robin Hazelman; Shamal Ram Anaj won on 1st round KO over Ronald Kumar;  Saula Naicori wbd Savenaca Goneva; Simon Whippy won unanimous points over Chin Sami Naidu; Vilimoni Taganikula beat Savenaca Tyson by knockout; Rahul Pillay beat Mohammed Khan– referee Richard Smith stopped the fight in the third round.
