Emosi makes deputy headboy while brother Peni is Tovata House captain.
Twins Emosi and Peni Narube of Queen Victoria School (QVS) are ready for any challenge that comes their way.
Deputy headboy Emosi, and Tovata House Captain told Fiji Sun yesterday they would tackle whatever comes their way in a brotherly manner.
Peni has big plans for Tovata House and he will make sure “no one is left behind.”
“I want my house to excel this year, in academic and in sports as well. I will also make sure that we maintain good discipline throughout the year.
“Only the Lord will guide us through the difficult yet challenging leadership role that is given to us,” he said.
The brothers are aiming to get a place in the Toppers Scholarship next year and they plan keep things in balance.
“We are thankful for our achievements so far and we promise not to let our teachers and parents down,” Peni said.
“I’m sure there won’t be any problem because we have each other.”
Their father, Peni Narube, 45, of Navutu, Nadroga, held his head high when his sons were handed their badges yesterday.
“I can say that I am a proud father today, and I thank the Almighty God for my sons’ achievements and the roles that has now been given to them.
“I trust them and I believe they can take up the challenges. I am very happy for my sons and I wish them well throughout the year.”
Fifty-six students were inducted as prefects yesterday at the school’s newly renovated chapel.
