NEORI, ELENOA’S BIG PLANS

30 students were inducted prefects yesterday.
Young leaders of Saint Vincent College in Natovi have bright aims for the school this year.
Headboy Neori Gilbert said it won’t be an easy task to lead more than 300 students, but he would give it his best shot.
“It is going to be a very challenging year for me; I will need to balance everything out and not focusing on just one place. I have to watch my grades too,” he said.
The young man said, with respect to the previous year’s disciplinary issues in the school, he would try and change things to bring out the best in the school.
“With the help of the head girl and the prefects, I know we will be able to succeed this year, especially with upgrading our external exam results,” he said.
Headgirl Elenoa Adi Nemata thanked the Lord for her new role.
“I wasn’t expecting this. It came as a surprise, but I believe God will guide me through,” she said.
“My main target this year is to encourage the girls in the dormitory to work extra hard so we can get a place in the Toppers Scholarships next year.”
The 17-year-old said she would have to make more sacrifices this year.
