Some civil servants are under investigation for allegedly breaching the public service General Orders. The orders pertain to unethical practices like accepting gifts, allowances, etc for services rendered outside of the public service. For a long time, this has been going on. But the ongoing public service reforms have exposed this unacceptable conduct. To those involved they need to stop or face the full brunt of the law. As we speak, FICAC is understood to be on the case.
