The Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, yesterday received the credentials for the incoming World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative to the South Pacific, Dr Corinne Capuano.
In receiving her credentials, Prime Minister Bainimarama welcomed Dr Capuano to the country and highlighted his Government’s commitment to work closely with the WHO.
Before her appointment as WHO Representative for the South Pacific last November, Dr Capuano worked in the WHO office in Manila, Philippines.
