Red won the Suva Muslim College inter-house athletics competition at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

Red amassed 25 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze medals, Blue finished second (24, 21, 17), Green in third place (18, 17, 8) and Yellow finished fourth (6, 12, 17).

The Nabua based school missed out in the Coca-Cola Games last year.

And SMC head of physical education, music, art and craft department Swas0tika Khan said they would prepare for a strong comeback.

“Our school is academic oriented school the students were given the chance to showcase their potentials and have proven themselves well on the track.

“We did not take part last year  due to Tropical Cyclone Winston,” Khan said.

Suva Muslim will be represented by 30 athletes for the Suva Zone One meet on March 30 at the ANZ Stadium. The Coca-Cola games will be held on April 20-22.
