What is life without an adventure?

Discover Fiji knows just how to spice up an adventurous life with their various range of outdoor activities.

And for David and Natalie Pohlmann, being the first tourists to go on the newly-launched Rewa River Jet Boat Adventure, is a trip to remember.

The couple are from Brisbane, Australia.

They came by the tourist cruise liner, Legends of the Seas.

The vessel called into the Port of Suva on Tuesday.

“This is one of the best trips we have taken in Fiji,” Mr Pohlmann said.

“The last time we came over, we stayed in the resort with our families, but to do something like this is amazing.”

Mrs Pohlmann said such an activity was a boost for the local economy, especially for the villages nearby.

“We will definitely want to come back here,” she said.

“This place is just amazing and we’re super excited.

“Even tasting kava and listening to the men sing is exciting.

“We’re just glad that we were the first tourists to visit this place.”

A 50-minute jet boat ride up Fiji’s widest river.

Cool dip in one of the country’s pristine waterfalls.

And a lovely lunch at Natavea-i-Ra.

Life in the office surely tastes bitter.
