Tailevu schools Queen Victoria School and Ratu Kadavulevu School have boosted the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School rugby league competition for the South/East zone.

Zone vice-president Aisake Tuapati said yesterday the two schools presence has lifted the competition, which is attracting a big crowd.

“We had a good turnout today (yesterday) and people were at the ground before 8am,” he said.

“Seeing the participation of RKS and QVS this year have attracted the crowd. They have filled in teams in all grades and are competing competitively.”

In the U19 grade QVS walloped Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 46-2 while RKS defeated Assemblies of God High School 24-8.

Under-15: RSMS 20-4 AOG, LMS 18-12 DHS, SGS 10-0 Ratu Latianara, QVS 10-6 RKS

Under-17: LMS 8-2 AOG, QVS 44-0 DHS, RSMS 20-13 JWC, Ratu Latianara 26- 6 Marist Champagnat

Under-19: RKS 24-8 AOG, QVS 46- 2 RSMS, Marist 38-4 Dudley, Nabua 18-16 JWC
