Tourists and local business customers will soon be able to enjoy the services of Nalagi Hotel.

The hotel will be opened by the end of this year.

The said to be tallest nine-level building in Nadi, will have the rooftop swimming pool which the investor, Dongcheng Investment Company PTE Limited, believes will be of unique style compared with what exists in Fiji.

The Dongcheng Investment Company PTE Limited, general manager assistant Lu Wang, said the  hotel would attract people to the Jetset Town.

The hotel will have 200 rooms.

“We are expecting to finish off with the construction and open the hotel before the end of this year,” Mr Wang said.

“The hotel is designed to be multifunctional and we will have two public facilities, one Chinese restaurant, one western, one rooftop endless swimming pool, gym, spa and boutique.”

The hotel has also has one business centre and six meeting rooms to meet the requirements for business and meeting demands.

“Our hotel will be the tallest building in the West and it will become the landmark for Nadi by the time it is completed.

“We believe that our hotel will bring positive effects for the local economy.

“Based on this, we believe the hotel will put new energy in to the Fiji’s tourism industry.”

“Our hotel can be the driving force for the development of the surrounding area, beside McDonald’s, the area is almost undeveloped,” Mr Wang said.

He said once the hotel was in operation, more people would be attracted to the are, increasing the value of Nadi.

He hinted that some shopping malls were planned to be constructed near the hotel.

“Our hotel operation will also increase local employment and for our hotel operation purpose we will need more than 50 employees are needed directly,” Mr Wang added.

The building has been set up on a total structure area of 14K square meters.

The hotel is on Enamanu Road at Matintar, Nadi.
