Nadi based AAAK Group of companies has investment heavily in its new subsidiary, Go Local Fiji Tours and Transfers.

The company has imported three new coaches from China worth FJ$750,000 together with a state of art workshop worth over FJ$1 million.

The three buses are a 15, 23 and 26-seater coaches to add to their fleet of four vehicles to service this segment of the guests.

General manager Aleem Mohammed said: “With the growing number of tourists visiting our shores has propelled the company to invest to such subsidiary.”

He added the company Go Local Fiji Tours was established at the end 2015 and fully operational last year.

“We have our wholesalers who give us direct bookings from Australia and New Zealand. We will use these coaches during tourist arrive via cruise ships at the various ports in Suva and Lautoka,” Mr Aleem said.

He also said they have a booth set up at Naviti Resort (Coral Coast) and Trans International Hotel in Nadi and proposing a set up at the Nadi International Airport once upgrade was completed.

Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya will officiate at the launch this Saturday at 3pm.

 

About AAAK Group

AAAK Group was established by Director Aslam Khan in 2000 where he established Taxi 2000 which currently has 30 vehicles in the fleet.

The company was taken over by his son Azeem Khan, an accountant by profession who returned to Fiji in 2013 and continued with the investment looking at the suitable economic growth.

The establishment of AAAK Rentals in 2013 saw 30 rentals in their fleet.

The company also acquired a property at Nasilivata road near Namaka Public School last year from Great Designs which houses their headquarters and new  workshop.

The Group also owns Xclusive Carz which is based at the Aerotown near Nadi International Airport which was established last year.

The group employs over 100 staff to date.
