PM’s North Tour
People in in the Northern Division are looking forward to Prime Minister’s North tour and are hoping that more such tours take place.
Why? Civil servants are at their best behaviour and are most helpful when the Prime Minister is around. On other days, it is difficult to even get one to listen to your woes. Did someone say civil service reforms?
Frozen chick campaign
Is it true that one who will soon play a bigger role on the Opposition side had, during campaigning, carried a frozen chicken around saying he would reduce its price if elected?
And, some comments about Taliban were also made?
Surely not, right?
Heading to Hope?
The situation is so fluid now in the Opposition camp that it’s difficult to keep track of what’s happening.
In the last two weeks, there was a prominent resignation that escaped the radar.
There is speculation that, like others before her, Hope, the proposed party, is the next stop.
Two way
Rabuka – No Other Way makes an interesting read these days.
How things change. Or better still, do people ever really change?
Retirement age
And word on the street is at least one political party has already started spreading the word around that they will increase the retirement age to 60. Hmmmm…
What about the young ones coming into the workforce? Does this have anything to do with the exit of their previous youth leader?
