Naidu Guilty of Murder, Robbery
A judge has overturned the assessors’ decision and found Sudesh Mani Naidu, 44, guilty of murder and robbery. Naidu appeared before Justice Salesi Temo in the Suva High Court yesterday.

A judge has overturned the assessors’ decision and found Sudesh Mani Naidu, 44, guilty of murder and robbery.
Naidu appeared before Justice Salesi Temo in the Suva High Court yesterday.
The assessors ruled Naidu was not guilty.
Naidu stole $2200 worth of assorted jewelry from a 74-year-old woman and then murdered her at Johnson Road, Lautoka in 2013.
The court heard that Naidu was previously convicted for obtaining property by deception in 2007.
The case has been adjourned to February 27.
