The Namuamua 7s team from Namosi is hoping to expose their players before the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament in Suva next month.
“If they want to play for the Marist 7s then they have to prove themselves,” Coach Serupepeli Tuitoga said during the Island Chill Serua 7s in Navua yesterday.
“If they can handle the pressure, then they should be ready to play against some of the toughest teams in Fiji at the Marist 7s.
“But we’re concentrating on their welfare as these boys are unemployed and playing rugby is their passion.
“We have to fundraise to buy our uniform, registration fee, meals and accommodation.”
