Rogovoka won the 2017 Sila Central High School inter-house competition in Nausori yesterday.

Rogovoka House collected 30 gold medals, 23 silver medals and 24 bronze medals. Kaunitera House came second (24, 18, 18), Duiyabaki House third (20, 28, 19) and Kaunitoni settled for fourth (15, 18, 20).

The athletes in blue were declared the overall winners for both the girls and boys category.

Physical Education, Music, Arts and Craft (PEMAC) assistant head of department Jainud Dean is hopeful to win medals in the field events during the Coca-Cola Games in April.

“Our strength is more in the field events,”Dean said,

Dean also said despite the wet weather,200 athletes participated in preparations for Coke Games.

“I have designed a training programme for our elite squad which we will select on Monday,” he added.
