The first shipment of Fiji’s Famous Vai Wai water has arrived at Dubai port after the 40 day journey across from Fiji.

It is imported by Sarah Conrad from Nadroga, owner of Middle East and Africa Corporation.

ME&A Corporation is determined to showcase the island archipelago of Fiji from half-way across the world.

Vai Wai is duly certified by ESMA the Emirates Standardisation authority and meets all local regulations.

Vai Wai will be available in over 200 retail outlets across the United Arab Emirates, with five star hotels following suit.

ME&A Corporation intends to make very selective, niche, Fijian food products the centrepiece of their procurement and distribution process.

The category comprises foodstuff that meet strict agricultural standards, farm and naturally grown, organically nurtured, free from chemicals, artificial additives, genetic medications, commercial corner- cutting compulsions and other compromises.

A percentage of every bottle of Vai Wai sold in Dubai will go into ME&A’s Private Foundation in Fiji which will build homes for the poor and invest in other poverty eradicating measures.

So whilst the company operates in the premium water segment, there is clearly no watering down of humanitarian values the company holds dearly.

After its consolidation in the UAE the brand will be introduced in the wider Gulf.
