Apolosi Ranawai aims to win gold in the senior boys 400metres at the 2017 Coca-Cola Games on April 20-22 at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
The Year 13 student of Queen Victoria School won silver in the last year’s Coke Games.
The Lawaki, Tailevu native won his two sprint events 200m and 400m for his Rewa House during the school’s inter-house meet at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.
He clocked 52seconds in the 400m and 23seconds in the 200m.
“I aim to improve my time and try to win gold,” he said.
“I would like to thank the teachers, my friends from QVS and my family for their endless support.”
