The Uprising 7s team aims to expose their young players in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament next month.

Team captain Navitalai Naduguduguivalu said majority of their players are 19-22 years old.

“We have been preparing for three months  and we are getting more players which is a good sign for us,”he said.

“I can say we’re ready for the Marist 7s after playing in the Island Chill Serua 7s tournament.

“We need to be in top form at the Marist 7s and we will train at the Uprising Beach Resort and I am banking on these young players to prove their worth.

“It is a big boost for the boys to train where the Vodafone Fijian 7s squad trains.

“I can confidently say that come the Marist 7s, we will fit and ready.”
