The Minister for Local Government, Housing, Transport and Environment Parveen Bala met with Nasekula Road ratepayers in Labasa yesterday.
Mr Bala said the ratepayers of Nasekula Road had genuine concerns in terms of drainage, road, street lights and footpaths and these would be looked into.
“I have been told that most of the children walk on the narrow footpath to go to school. In consultation with Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) and in partnership with FRA, I have instructed Labasa Town Council to carry out the above works.
