You’ll be shocked that some of the fish we’ve been warned not to eat are being sold by the roadside or even at the fish market. This is after several people have already died from eating them.
And what makes it more alarming when we see the ‘Fresh Fish’ sign next to it. Maybe, the relevant authorities should consider doing a surprise check at these places.

FNPF appointment
A headhunting firm has been tasked to find the right person to head Fiji National Provident Fund. Rather than having someone who merely wants to leave their current workplace, the firm will go out and recruit people who have real potential. Looks like a worthy person will head the largest financial institution.

Rubbish line
The national toll free line to report those throwing rubbish anywhere and everywhere is long overdue. It was supposed to have been revealed several months ago. Hmmm!

Natural born female?
Heard around the grog bowl an interesting question- what is an “unnatural born female”? This was after an advert placed for a beauty pageant had its first requirement as the applicant needing to be a natural born female. Needless to say, those around the tanoa were better enlightened.
