Every Fijians will have a chance to contribute towards sports development in the country.

This was after the National Sports and Physical Activity Review Policy was launched by the Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou in Suva yesterday.

The review will run for six weeks where data and information gathered will assist in the formulation of a revised and improved policy.

Tuitubou urges members of the public to take part in the review.

“Members of the public are invited to be part of the review,”he said.

“They will now have a chance to make comments and contribute effectively towards a formulation a better policy that will impact sports development at every level in Fiji.

“We will expedite available resources, personnel and networks to ensure that the best result is achieved.

“We want to acknowledge our stakeholders who are also important players in this review process, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, FASANOC, ONOC, Fiji National Sports Commission and Fiji Sports Council, Fiji National Council for Disabled persons and sporting federations,” he added.

Tuitubou also stated through this survey they will reach out to remotest parts of Fiji.
