The South/East Zone Secondary School Rugby League Association has confirmed the four spots in the Under-19 quarterfinals.

Zone coordinator Moape Cama told SUNsports yesterday that the quarterfinals would be held in Nadi and the U19 teams have two weeks to prepare.

“We will soon finalise the date for the national quarterfinals,” Cama said.

“There has been a great improvement and we have two rounds of competition left before the quarterfinals. All schools are preparing well since they are playing weekly games. The standard of fitness has improved compared to what we saw in the first week.”

Ratu Latinaira Memorial School were declared the overall winners in the Tanoa challenge after beating Queen Victoria School 22-20 while Ratu Kadavulevu School won by default against Suva Grammar School.

RESULTS

U15: Nasinu Secondary School 10-4 Lelean Memorial School, Queen Victoria School 26-0 John Wesley College, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 0-16 Ratu Kadavulevu School

U17: Queen Victoria School 16- 6 John Wesley College, Lelean Memorial School 26- 0 Ratu Latinaira Memorial School.

U19: Lelean Memorial School WBD Dudley High, Queen Victoria School 20- 22 Ratu Latinaira Memorial School, Ratu Kadavulevu School WBD Suva Grammar School.
