Tonga A head coach Isi Fatani is hopeful of a good tournament as they aim to better their performance. “We are looking forward to the competition,” the former Tongan national lock forward said.

“We have been preparing for this tournament for the last two months and it is going to be a very physical battle.

“We would like to finish at the top this year after we came third last year.”

Fatani said he was grateful to the Fiji Rugby Union for stepping in to host the Pacific Challenge for the second year.

“I would like to thank FRU for hosting the tournament which I think was really good and we are looking forward to this year’s battle,” he added.
