Its succession plans may see more female candidates climb the ranks.

Not only is Fijian Holdings promoting gender diversity on its board, but also at its management level.

Fijian Holdings Group chief executive, Nouzab Fareed, has proudly highlighted the fact that three of its subsidiaries are currently being managed by women.

Rowena Fong has been appointed the chief executive of FHL Properties Limited.

At the same time, Elenoa Vuniwa, is leading FHL Fund Management as its general manager.

FHL Fund Management Limited is the fund managers for Fiji Fijian Holdings Unit Trust.

And also recently taking up the acting chief executive role for Fiji Television is Karen Lobendahn.

Mr Fareed stressed FHL Group is proud to have the women leading these subsidiary companies and in future, they would not hesitate to appoint more women if they meet the job requirements.

FHL already has succession planning that may see many more potential female candidates climb the ranks in the Group through proper mentoring and continued training and development.

FHL is an employer with over 1700 employees and takes priority in training and the development of its staff.

It believes that it will produce gains in competitive recruitment, careers and contribute to the increase in productivity.
