NFA investigating house fire in Cakadrove

 

The Fiji Police Force and National Fire Authority are carrying out an investigation into a fire incident that happened in Napuka, Cakadrove early this week.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said a corrugated house belonging to a 45-year-old chef of Napuka Secondary School was completely burned down with its contents destroyed.

“The incident happened last Sunday,” Ms Naisoro said.

“The estimated cost of damage is $25,000.

“The cause of fire is yet to be established.”

She confirmed that there was no casualty
