Who’s next on village death list?
Do people still believe in a curse? Well, some villagers are beginning to think that their three villages are cursed. Since November last year there has been a death virtually every week. This week, a church pastor died. The death toll has got people talking. Some believe witchcraft is involved and have reported it to the Police.
But Police are not amused. An officer who attended a tikina (district) meeting said complaints should have evidence otherwise it was a waste of time. That response has not helped ease the villagers’ worry. They are now asking: “Who is next on the death list?”
