Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports Iliesa Delana has reminded village youths to submit their annual reports if they want assistance from Government.

Delana is on a tour to the Western division as well to the Mamanuca’s where he has sat and discussed with youths about their projects.

Delana said it was important for youth groups in the village to submit their annual report as this is the only way they would know of their request.

He said in order for a youth group to be part of this assistance from government, it must first register with the ministry.

“Well some of the youth groups have not updated their report right from last year.”

During his visit to Sabeto in Nadi, the village headman Sailasa Natalawaqa proposed the construction of a playing ground and a gym.

“This is because there are lots of boys around here and rugby has been helping many of our children make their living from it,” he added. Edited by Leone Cabenatabua
