Loud, hip and furious
Caught the bus the other day with the latest closed windows and hi-fi speakers.
A young, hip driver with several fans occupying the front seats ran a red light along the Kings Road, at the Grantham Road junction and almost ran another one in Samabula. The driver stopped just in time blocking the pedestrian crossing.
If that wasn’t enough he did the most daring stunt soon after. Turned up Waimanu Road at the junction did a 180 degree turn and back down Edinburgh Drive on a red light. Yes, with about 30 passengers.
With loud music on and continued loud conversation with his rabid fans he could do no wrong with almost 100 per cent approval from them.
Tell you what. It would only take a pressure situation for a driver like that to get into a big accident and people and stakeholders will be begin to perk up and question what happened?
