Dead chicken disappears

The rooster that was taken in for evidence after it was shot following a neighbourly dispute in Labasa last year is said to have disappeared without the knowledge of the powers that be. Must have been a nice curry or soup dinner!

Another price tag poser

Many on social media are still trying to get their head around the frozen chicken display at a local supermarket. The special price tag was $12.85 and it also had $115.65 each marked. It surely got a lot of head scratching! The key word here is per “bag”!

Thieves go graffiti

A prominent primary school in Nadi suffered two break-ins in a space of one week. The culprits not only took off with cash but they also did graffiti on the walls and floors of the classroom.

Thankfully the teachers quickly stepped into action yesterday to clean up the graffiti of words not fit for kids.
