Sigatoka Methodist College (SMC) are the newly crowned champions of the Nadroga/ Navosa Secondary Schools athletics zone competition at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

SMC were crowned the overall winners in the girl’s division after they scooped 10 gold medals, 6 silver and 6 bronze. In second place was defending champions Saint Theresa with 8 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze medals while in third place was Navosa Central College with 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.

They also took out the boy’s division with 13 gold medals, 13 silver and 10 bronze edging out Cuvu College who bagged 13 gold medals, 10 silver and 10 bronze. Coming in third place was Nasikawa Vision College with 9 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze. The athletes who have qualified have started their preparations for the Coca- Cola Games.
