15 Records Set In Nadi

  Fifteen records were broken in the first day of the Nadi Athletics Zone meet at Prince Charles Park yesterday. Zone president Pita Molidua said the overall result is good.

Fifteen records were broken in the first day of the Nadi Athletics Zone meet at Prince Charles Park yesterday.

Zone president Pita Molidua said the overall result is good.

“We are very impressed as most records were broken in the shot put, discus and javelin.”

He thanked sponsors Coca-Cola Fiji Amatil, principals of Nadi schools, FM 96, Vico and Digicel.

Defending boys champion Ratu Navula College leads with 7 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals,  Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College second (6, 3, 1).

In the girls division RNC also leads with 4 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals,  SSKMC ( 3, 3,1).

Today the event starts with the 3000 metres final.
