Kotobalavu Still President; No Change In Leadership

Judith Kotobalavu takes the Fiji Public Service Association national president title for a fourth time.

This was made official during the FPSA 74th annual convention held at Novotel Convention Centre in Lami yesterday.

She has held the post since 2014.

Ms Kotobalavu said she looked forward to continue providing her services and remained confident about her support from members of the association.

More than 100 delegates were present to witness the convention and the election.

Anand Chand, who is also a member of trade unions at the University of the South Pacific, was chief guest.

He said: “We are also planning on celebrating FPSA’s 75th anniversary next year for you all.”

Rajeshwar Singh is still general secretary, Karam Bidesi is still general treasurer, while Shaleeni P Singh, Vishwa Deo and Kamlesh Chand are still vice presidents.
