Greeted with big Bula smiles, Marriott Resort Fiji Momi Bay was yesterday definitely one of the places to be.

It’s not only a beautiful resort but it has excellent services and great food, media representatives soon found on a “sneak peak”. This was ahead of the official opening of the Fiji National Provident Fund owned and developed and Marriott operated property on April 8.

Marriott is now the world’s biggest hotel group following its takeover of Starwood, including its Sheraton and Westin properties in Fiji.

With 250 rooms, including 22 exclusive overwater Bure Villas, the resort offers unrivalled lagoon and ocean views.

The resort includes various dining options, three swimming pools and private white sandy beach.

It provides a range of facilities and attractions.

Located 45 minutes from the Nadi International Airport, the resort is very convenient for travellers.

General manager Silvano Dressino, who has been with the Marriott group for 21 years, said of every hotel he had been to, “This one is just special.”

With the location and its beautiful and untouched environment, it’s a stunning place, he said.

Mr Dressino started with the resort at the end of October last year. For him what’s important is: to have the right talent, find the right people, having to look for the right skills and attitude at the right time for the right job.

“Our mission is to create well customer moments and making customers happy,” he said.
