Naitini Feels Better After Chiropractic Treatment

Usaia Naitini said yesterday he felt better after he was treated by an American chiropractor at Nausori yesterday.
The resident of Lomaivuna, Naitasiri, said he heard about the free service of a team of American chiropractors when he was in Nausori Town on Wednesday.
“I then joined the many who were at Syria Park waiting to be seen,” he said.
“I usually play rugby and normally have back pain and I could feel the difference when I got the therapy done,” said Mr Naitini.
A member of the US team, a Fijian intern, Nemani Lalanabaravi Delaibatiki, said they had seen almost 1000 people by the afternoon.
Mr Delaibatiki said: “One man told us he had been limping for 10 years. After he was treated, the limp disappeared. He walked around for awhile and came back to us and said ‘this is magic’. Then he said ‘are you sure this is not black magic?’ I said no.
“His bones were not in alignment. We just realigned them and he was okay.”
Mr Delaibatiki said chiropractic was an alternative form of health care without surgery or drugs.
“When something interferes with the communication of the brain and spinal cord and the rest of the body, it affects the way the body functions and so we try to clear that pathway so that we can put back the person to optimal health,” said Mr Delaibatiki.
The 36-member team will be offering free service again at Ratu Sukuna Park, Suva, today. Tomorrow, their final clinic will be in Nadi either near Prince Charles Park or Koroivolu Park.
