It was a proud moment for Suva Grammar School’s 4×100 junior boy’s relay team who took back the title after 13 years. They achieved this feat during the Suva Zone Two meet at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

Kolinio Naulaga, Waisea Meya, Benjamin Traill and Benjamin Dickson were elated over the win.

“This is such a proud moment for us, it has been a long time since we won this event and we were just praying really hard that we win,” Traill said.

“We are excited and lost for words, when I crossed the finish line and saw that we had won. I just couldn’t stop jumping in excitement.

“I know our coaches would be proud and we could not have done it without our coach Jone Delai and also God.”

Traill said the win would be a huge boost for them going into the Coke Games in three weeks time.
