Vodafone Fijian 7s head coach has named an experienced 12-member team for this weekends Hong Kong 7s which starts today.

Isake Katonibau makes his comeback into the team and will bolster the forwards pack. Also making it into the final 12 are Jasa Veremalua, Amenoni Nasilasila, Apisai Domolailai, Kalioni Nasoko, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and youngster Mesulame Kunavula.

Captain Osea Kolinisau retains his position with Seremaia Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Vatemo Ravouvou and Joeli Lutumailagi.

Setareki Bituniyata is the 13th man while Nacanieli Labalaba will be rested this weekend.

Katonibau feels great to be in Hong Kong and is eager to run on the field.

“It is good to be back in Hong Kong there is always pressure but at this level, we got to control those emotions especially at serious stages in the finals,” Katonibau said.

“I believe all the teams preparing for Hong Kong are confident, if you are not confident you should not be there.”

Fiji plays Japan at 11.54pm tonight. Then will take on Wales at 5.12pm tomorrow, before taking New Zealand in its last pool match at 9.12pm.

The Cup quarterfinals will begin at 2.58pm on Sunday, Cup semifinal starts at 7.31pm and the Cup final at 11pm.
