The Pragdish Gounder coached Rakiraki team will be in full force to topple Jacks Nadi in the Vodafone Premier League clash at Garvey Park, Tavua.

“We will have to prove a point against Nadi as we have been scoreless after four matches,” Rakiraki FA president Shaneel Gounder said.

Former Ba rep Jonny Rao and former Lautoka rep Madre Varan will make their debut for the side.

Senior players that have returned to bolster the side includes Ili Gaunavou Junior, Sheik Afraaz who has returned from Japan and Joseph Elder who missed out in the last match.

“We will be using senior players as we host Nadi in Tavua. It is an important match for us.

“We request the fans to come out in numbers for our home game,” he said.

“Our preparation has been good with most of the players engaged with the religious teams for their respective Easter weekend games so the fitness is there.”

Also bolstering the side are seasoned players such as former Ba rep Ronald Lawrence and former national and Lautoka striker Shalesh Sami Bula.

Other notable reps are Jale Vota, Severio Naqoli, and goal keeper Sairusi Nabogi.

The Rakiraki and Nadi match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday.
