It’s a must win for the Vodafone Fijian 7s team in their final pool match against New Zealand at 9:12pm tonight to book their spot in the cup quarterfinal .
This was after the Gareth Baber coached side failed to secure a victory over Wales in their second pool match and ended up in a 17all draw.
The defending champions did not perform their level best in their game against the Welsh as there was a lot of scrappy play and failed to execute their game plan well. Wales led 10-5 at half time, Fiji’s lone try in the first half was through Mesulame Kunavula in the first minute while Wales Luke Morgan scoring a double.
